World of Warcraft doesn’t get many notable World Firsts outside of a new raid tier being released, so when one happens it can get pretty exciting! A team from China have just completed the first Mythic dungeon +29 key in time in the world. The whole run was completed in 31:01, with ample time to spare.

The affixes for the week were Fortified, Sanguine, Grievous and Awakened – which makes this completion even more incredible, as personally, I have not enjoyed trying to push keys this week.

If you’re interested in the full log of the run, click here.

The team composition is as follows:

Tank: Protection Warrior

Healer: Holy Paladin

DPS: Havoc Demon Hunter, Fire Mage, Outlaw Rogue

What’s really interesting, and should be noted, is what corruption stacking the team used. Almost every single player stacked Versatile corruptions, excluding the mage who stacked Masterful. Will be start seeing this as the go-to meta for big key pushes? That remains to be seen.

Big congratulations from all of us at Aether Flask to: 戰临, 杰克丶, 守二財, Himelody, and 忘机丶.

Aether has been playing World of Warcraft since 2006. In his youth he raided 7 days a week, but now just plays with friends doing Mythic dungeons and Arena. He swaps his main more often than he should.
