In the current climate of the video game industry, it seems unlikely to see a new console that competes against the Nintendo Switch, and the future PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. However, it seems that SNK has another mentality . Through a tweet, the Japanese company announced a new NeoGeo for the next generation.
The message indicates that the next NeoGeo console will have a modern design, a wonderful feeling when playing, and it will be possible to have a connection with the NeoGeo Mini. In SNK’s words “it will offer a trip we have never experienced.”
SNK did not give more information about the new console, just asked us to keep up to date with news in the coming months. We honestly do not believe it is possible to see new home hardware, but it may be possible to see something hit the arcades.
